Blissed Out at Verizon Tech Heaven in NYC’s Times Square

A corner of New York’s Times Square has become my own personal geek heaven!  A group of 20 #brand ambassadors traveled to the Big Apple this past Thursday—some of us to meet for the first time, while others were re-united from previous trips.

We started the visit off with a wonderful dinner and powwow that included our team members as well as meeting Mark Absher, Social Strategist and also Monica Vila of @TheOnlineMom.  I would like to thank you both for hosting a fun cocktail hour and dinner to welcome us.

What I enjoyed about this trip was not only being able to act like a big kid in very tech candy store at the Verizon Bryant Park Innovation Center in NYC, but also feeling a sense of team spirit and family-style bonding with our ambassadors.  It was great to see Misty and Marty McPadden again and, if you were following our social media pages, {you know} we had a blast with friends old and new.

I love the LIVE Tweeting from the Verizon Wireless Green Building Store at One Bryant Park.  I admire the fact that Verizon has many socially responsible programs, such as HopeLine.   The program turns previously used wireless phones into support for victims of domestic violence by providing both phones and airtime.
