Butterflies are some of my most ‘favorite things’ and I paint them quite often. Like Maureen stated above, butterflies have a special significance for many, including me.
They are difficult to photograph, and you did a great job.

Thanks for the beautiful butterfly pictures. Ever since my husband was diagnosed with the big C, butterflies been always near me as signs letting me know that transformation is happening and that all is well.

Indeed butterflies to me are VERY special.. a constant reminder of a daughter that was very special! And like the butterfly that has to emerge from its own cocoon unaided, a mother in grief needs time to gather renewed energy and strength in order for her wings to fly once again.
