✈ Planes, Trains and Automobiles Bring the Twitterati to a Fashion Tweet-up in Washington D.C.
Do you know any of the famous Tweeters in these Photos?
This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend George Zaharoff’s, first Nordstrom Tweet-up at the Pentagon Mall in Washington, DC. The talented fashion designer, and his co-host Guiseppe Longo have been taking their #Zlive fashion Tweet-up engagements on the road to connect with their fans and followers on a personal basis to showcase Zaharoff’s Men’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection and also to introduce the birth of www.zedzaharoff.com.
Tweeters came by planes, trains and automobiles from Florida, Texas, New York, West Virginia, and Baltimore, MD to the DC fashion #Zlive Tweet-up. Some friends decided to make a weekend trip to visit their DC Tweeters, and other folks brought their family along and made a mini-vacation out of it.
@MomsofAmerica and I were asked to model selections from @Zaharoff ‘s new Zed women’s clothing line. I loved the fabric he chose and the blouse made me feel glamorous. To quote George, “Don’t take my word for it, experience it yourself.” I can’t wait to try out some of the rest of his collection.
After the fashion Tweetup, we went out for dinner and drinks.
What do you think we did besides eat, drink and be Merry? We tweeted ツ .

Last week, I met some Twitter friends in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, (Please see my post on Twitter In Real Life), and now this weekend @catalyst303 , @Dabneyporte, @FashionClassJet , @OurTownMagazine and other friends came to my hometown for the @Zaharoff fashion Tweet-up.
If you missed George and Guiseppe in Seattle or Washington, DC, their next #Zlive Nordstrom Tweet-up will be in Chicago on October 8, 2011.
Thank YOU everyone for your support and coming out to spend time with us!

Looks like a great time was had by all. You can see the excitement in the photos! :o)
Ann, thank you for being such a gracious hostess in your beautiful city! I am officially in love with Washington, D.C. now! Thanks, to both you and Debra, for breaking Aline (@catalyst303) and I in right on Friday night. I will be coming back. : )
Thank you for the special memories and here’s to our future moments! I LOVE the photos! Please send me copies when you are able by email. Smiling about the parrot! Know when you see me there will be more “pink” champagne and much more laughter.
The #ZLive Nordstrom Tweet-up with @Zaharoff was fantastic. You and Debra (@MomsofAmerica) looked adorable in your matching tops. For those who have not had the pleasure of meeting George Zaharoff, he has an incredible eye for style, full of talent, and is quite a charming man. His line for men is made of the finest fabrics. His suits, or jackets can be worn for making your best impression in the business world, to being the perfect accent piece for a night out.
I personally ordered from his woman’s line, (only online), which is made of Italian and French fabrics, as well as absolutely stunning! Only 7 pieces per month will be made of each collection. I can’t wait for the next one to launch in November. Visit his website at http://www.georgezaharoff.com for more information.
Ann, I treasure your friendship! Keep tweeting and spreading inspiration wheresoever you may go my friend. Much love! Carolyn Gardner ~ @OurTownMagazine
