This past week was Social Media Week in Washington, D.C., and to celebrate, we had our D.C. Happy Hour and discussion:\u00a0 Build Relationships, Followers Will Come<\/a> at Edgar Bar & Kitchen<\/a> hosted by Sean Garner<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>and I, <\/strong>and\u00a0moderated by Shana Glenzer<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, with the @EdgarDC #EdgarSocial tweet-up<\/strong><\/a> that reunited old friends and forged new connections.<\/p>\n Sabrina Hare @sabrinascakes<\/a> designed us a fabulous #socialcake (a title coined by Founder of\u00a0#<\/span>blackboard<\/a>,\u00a0@<\/span>MichaelChasen<\/a>, at the event).\u00a0 The design was a hit with all the guests, as it represented how social media keeps us connected\u2014in cake form. \u00a0What\u2019s not to love?<\/p>\n I\u2019d like to thank our guests for sharing the evening with us, as it couldn\u2019t have happened without their amazing input<\/strong><\/a>.
