I call it \u201cBeautiful Determination!\u201d by @LViolette #vzwbuzz #edgardc<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But you must all be wondering who won\u2026so congratulations to Liv Violette, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LViolette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">@LViolette<\/a>), our winner of the Cherry Blossom photo contest!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all those who participated and attended our evening event among social friends to celebrate springtime in our beautiful city. \u00a0For those of you who did not get to leave with the awesome camera, you may want to get in touch with Liv regarding her fun <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wll.com\/Where-is-Willie.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Willy Washington<\/strong><\/a> photo contest. \u00a0It\u2019s definitely a contest I\u2019m going to be entering!<\/p>\n<p>And now for the surprises\u2014Tweet Up guests from outside the Washington D.C. area! \u00a0The out-of-towners included <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JohnLusher\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>John Lusher<\/strong><\/a> from Roanoke, Virginia, about three hours drive from the city. \u00a0This was the first time I\u2019d ever had the chance to meet John and his wife face-to-face! We&#8217;ve tweeted with each for about three years now, so this meeting was very special. If you are ever in the Roanoke area, John hosts a quarterly <a href=\"http:\/\/webuildbuzz.com\/social-networking\/twitter\/first-hootuproa-at-roanoke-higher-education-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>HootSuite HootUp<\/strong> <\/a>that you are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mistygirlph\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Misty<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MartyMcPadden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Marty McPadden<\/strong> <\/a>traveled all the way from Connecticut, making this the fourth time we\u2019ve been able to meet.
