Are you an #IGAddict?<\/p>\n<p>What does your Instagram page say about you? \u00a0I&#8217;ve been on Instagram for only a short period of time, and I\u2019ve found that I absolutely enjoy this platform. \u00a0I love sharing my photo walks through nature with my friends. \u00a0I may not be a professional photographer, but I have a good idea what imagery people like to see on this platform. \u00a0I wanted to share a few tips that you may find useful, because engaging with your IGers is crucial.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 450px; #LA #Travel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Another suggestion is to show a sense of humor when posting images of yourself to create more engagement.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/Z_JH5tqMjx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I love using Instagram to get to know people a bit more. \u00a0I appreciate other people&#8217;s photos and it is fun to take a peek into their lives and other parts of the world. \u00a0But, that said, people who post nothing but &#8220;selfies&#8221; are a turn-off for me\u2014you <i>do<\/i> know that the camera can take pictures the other way too, right? \u00a0But seriously, check out my article on <a href=\"https:\/\/ann-tran.com\/2013\/08\/social-media-sharing-when-is-it-too-much\/\">social media sharing<\/a>, and learn how to avoid crossing the line to \u201cover-sharing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Instead of just posting a picture, try adding a quote or a reflective thought. \u00a0Adding this layer of depth makes the photo more interesting. \u00a0Personally, I love taking pictures of architecture, sunsets and nature.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 450px; \u262e Unknown<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>For instance, if you take a picture of a building, it&#8217;s nice to show the ripples and the <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/cb85ndqMrr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reflections of the lake<\/a> in your photo.\u00a0 Or when you take pictures of flowers, see if you can capture nature in action. \u00a0I Love flowers and used to take photos of just the flowers, but now I challenge myself to be patient and capture <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/cZOvyiKMuk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">more than just still life<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ann-tran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/butterfliesInstagramAddictorStoryTeller.jpeg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-6166 colorbox-6155 lazyload\" alt=\"butterfliesInstagramAddictorStoryTeller.jpeg\" data-src=\"https:\/\/ann-tran.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/butterfliesInstagramAddictorStoryTeller.jpeg.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"509\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 450px;
