A fine evening for dinner normally plays like a good film<\/strong><\/a> or musical theatre performance.\u00a0 Enjoyable ones have a solid three act structure, such as appetizer, main course, and dessert.\u00a0 But extraordinary dinners have much more; crescendos and subtlety, subplots and strong character, musical passages that cause goosebumps, and surprises that amaze!<\/p>\n

We were lucky enough to experience this “once-in-a-lifetime” meal not once, but twice, and each time was a unique experience.<\/p>\n

We exposed our senses to something new and found undiscovered flavors at Le Chique<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Restaurant at the Azul Sensatori Hotel by Karisma, located in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico.<\/p>\n

Only a few talented chefs are practicing this art of molecular gastronomy, and Executive Chef Jonatan Gomez-Luna Torres raises the gourmet dining experience to an art form.\u00a0 Perhaps this may be my best experience because of the fusion of Mexican spices, artful design of the plating, color, creative blending of tastes, and excellent wine parings.<\/p>\n
